I have a heart of gold,
iced around the edges from people you don't know;
and shouldn't.
I have been back and forth between deciphering love.
I work hardest on the things that mean the least to you. I will go out of my way to make you smile.
I know the games,
I've played them all too many times.
I have a select few friends I trust whole heartedly,
and they aren't you.
I trust all too easily, and get hurt way too often.
Things will change.
I can do it, all by myself.
I have a feeling my life is taking a new turn,
for a brand new chapter in my life.
