Friends and fellow vSiders, I have a message for you. If you have been feeling depressed lately over losing vSide, it's probably because you have too many memories of good things that you have done and that have happened around here. That is a good thing. The best way to make anything good come out of this is for you to carry all your good memories and all your good feelings forward with you. There *is* light at the end of every tunnel and you have it in you to make your life beautiful. Remember that.

I wrote this next passage at 2 AM, after having a drink. It's not exactly Shakespeare, but it's from me to all of you.

For all the strangers in streets imagined, known only in my mind
For all the moments knowing, a party was not far behind
For everyone who would listen, or who needed to hear a friend
I share with you the anguish, that our world soon will end

With every moment knowing, that we'll miss each other much
With every last-minute message, to make sure we stay in touch
With all that's said right now, while staring at the end
We learned all too well, the value of a friend.

It's time to remember the times, when this place made us soar
It's time to recall the parties, the lure of the dance floor
And in time we will know, long after we've come and went
Forever we will be here, that this was time not badly spent
